William looks at working with other artists and within the art institution as a form of community building social practice work. They believe that art isn't limited to the work that we make, but that it encompasses the way that we live our lives and move through them with intention.

In their role as Gallery Director, they are committed to the disruption of relations predicated on settler-colonialism in the contemporary art world. They seek to bridge the gap between individuals from marginalized groups and the art institution, and to present programming that can effect change through artistic expression.

Houston Trent

He/Him

Gallery Assistant

Houston Trent is a multidisciplinary designer and artist drawing intricate maps between real life and the imagined, creating connected experiences with lasting effects in the world. Houston takes a rhizomatic approach to design, with the belief that a good solution to a problem is a solution with many entry points. Rather than drawing straight lines from point to point, Houston's work aims to draw a complex map that taps into many aspects of the human experience. Houston's mission statement is to be an emissary, simply relaying fragments of the the larger narrative that exists all around us, while simultaneously and constantly innovating and redefining what art and design can be.
