Artist Bio:
Vinh Pham was born in 1995 in Portland Oregon. They are a non-binary, mixed-race artist who utilizes a variety of media in order to explore the nuances of their identity.

Artist statement
Through making I am exploring the intersectional dissonance that manifests in my identity. I am a non-binary, mixed-race artist who employs an intuitive and improvisational process in a variety of multimedia installation projects. My work dances the edge between body horror, and cotton candy; this marriage is called soft-gore and is used as an analytical tool that delineates connections between heritage, assimilation, autonomy, and identity.
